Try a Living Christmas Tree!
Why cut down a tree to decorate at Christmas? Consider a live tree that can be planted outside after the holidays to continue absorbing carbon dioxide and producing beauty, oxygen and shade. Choose a living Christmas tree, either a traditional evergreen or one of unusual color and/or shape.
We also have exciting winter color shrubs and trees that make thoughtful presents. If you prefer to let your gardening gift recipients choose a plant or other gift they will love, we offer gift certificates in any denomination you choose. Gift certificates can be picked up, mailed or emailed.

Fall is the Best Time for Planting
Fall/winter is the best time to plant because new plantings will not have to face hot weather (and the need for much supplemental watering) for several months. Now is a great time to plant shade trees, shrubs, and that windbreak or privacy screen you’ve wanted. Don’t worry about the cold harming fall plantings. Roots are well insulated in the ground and you can always add a 2-3” layer of organic mulch for more insulation. Let Mother Nature take care of the watering for the next few months.
