Enjoy a Stroll Through the Garden Gate….
You may benefit from our extensive horticultural travels to gardens and nurseries in the United States and abroad.  We love to visit gardens and nurseries always searching for new, unusual or just pretty plants.

Relax and Sit a Spell to Comtemplate the Larch Arch
Virtually all of the landscape plants we sell are hardy enough to spend the winter outside in nursery pots in this area.  We do not even have a wimpy greenhouse

See the Northwest’s Very Own Eden
The display garden at the nursery is designed to answer three frequently asked questions:

How big will it get?
Will it survive around here?

Does it have a place in my garden?

Thus many of the display garden’s plants are old standbys, but there are also lots of new plants that we do not yet (and may never) sell.  If new plants don’t live up to their hype, they go on the burn pile to make way for other test plants.  There are so many beautiful, unusual and trustworthy plants in the world that we have little patience with puny disease magnets, horticultural thugs, and downright ugly plants.

The Garden is Always Changing with the Seasons and New ideas
We do not hesitate to adjust plant combinations to make more pleasant compositions.  In fact, we move plants so often there are those who suggest we should install wheels on them.
Find Inspiration for Your Own Eden
All of our experimentation will give you new ideas for plants and compositions to try in your own garden.  We are currently working on expanding our display garden to three times its current size to show you even more possibilities (and to indulge our compulsive plant collecting.)
