Pot Deposits and Recycling Nursery Pots
Nursery pots are made from petroleum products and have become increasingly expensive. Rather than add the cost of a pot to the price of your plants, we list the price for the plant and charge a deposit on larger nursery pots. Simply return the pot with your receipt showing the deposit amount on your next trip to the nursery and we will refund your deposit.
We also accept 6” (#1 or ‘gallon’) and larger nursery pots in usable condition for recycling. Smaller pots are returned to the growers, given to the master gardeners, horticultural programs or to any other gardener that would like them.
If you want some small nursery pots, just call or stop by, we usually have plenty.
